A K-State student is being treated at a Topeka hospital after being hit by a car while walking on campus.
Kansas State University Police responded to a vehicle-pedestrian accident at 9 a.m. Thursday east of the intersection of Denison Avenue and Platt Street. The student was transported to Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, then later flown to a hospital in Topeka.
K-State Police said the driver of the vehicle also was a student.
University officials didn't provide any additional details including the names of the student and the driver.
The investigation is ongoing.
