PHOENIX — One person has died and another was seriously hurt after a vehicle crashed into a Phoenix bus stop Thursday night.
Firefighters say the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. near 23rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Phoenix police say a juvenile driver driving a Toyota pickup truck lost control and left the roadway, hitting two pedestrians at a bus stop.
One of the pedestrians was killed and another was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police say both victims were men, but no further information was released.
Phoenix police will be investigating the cause of the crash. The driver was not impaired at the time.
