From the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office:
“Deputies are receiving a number of complaints from bus drivers who, while out on their routes, see motorists disregarding extended stop arms.
(Monday) morning along U.S. 35, the pictured vehicle (in left lane ahead of bus, going in same direction) had just blown past the extended stop arm.
“Since this portion of U.S. 35 is a multi-lane undivided roadway, with no median or barrier, ALL lanes of traffic MUST stop for buses as they load or unload precious children.”
