Car crashes into Southlake pond, sinks - The Dallas Morning News

Southlake police are investigating after a car drove off the road, crashed and sank into a pond Tuesday morning.

The car was submerged in the pond adjacent 3150 Sabre Dr., near Kirkwood Boulevard in Southlake, about 6 a.m., police said in a statement on social media.

Crews from Southlake and the Grapevine police dive team were working to ensure no one was inside the vehicle.

Police have closed the intersection of Kirkwood Boulevard and Sabre Drive while they investigate.

No additional information was immediately available.
