A man and his mother were shot and wounded as they drove along a Randolph street Friday night.
Randolph police said the 26-year-old man and his 60-year-old mother were transported to area hospitals following the 11:15 p.m. shooting.
Police told WHDH-TV that the driver of the car was shot once in the shoulder and his mother once in the arm when a car came alongside the pairs’ vehicle as they traveled on Pleasant Street in Randolph and then opened fire, spraying the car with four to seven rounds. The second car then sped away.
Authorities say they do not believe the incident was random, however, police have no suspects at this time.
