(KNSI) – Two juveniles from St. Cloud have been charged after allegedly pulling a gun on a woman in Big Lake and stealing her vehicle last week.
The Sherburne County Attorney’s Office says the juveniles have been charged with Aggravated Robbery in the First Degree and other related charges.
According to the police department, around 6:45 pm on April 7th, officers were called to the Station Street Apartment parking lot, where the woman said two boys approached her and asked for a ride.
She says one of the boys pulled a gun, demanded her keys, and threatened to shoot her. Police say the two juveniles took the vehicle and fled.
OnStar tracked the vehicle to a parking lot on the 700-block of Martin Avenue in Big Lake. As an officer arrived, he saw two boys matching the victim’s description walking towards a grocery store.
After seeing the officer, the juveniles started running and climbed over a fence into a car dealership’s parking lot.
Two officers found one boy hiding under a vehicle and arrested him.
The second boy was found across the street and arrested.
Investigators say they found a handgun, car keys, and a piece of clothing where the two boys tried to climb over the fence.
