Road construction projects have already affected or will affect several of the Duluth Transit Authority's bus routes and stops.
Several stops in the Lincoln Park Craft District will be added, removed or relocated, according to a news release from the DTA. Fourteen stops will be removed, six will be added and two will remain the same in the area, resulting in eight fewer stops.

Some of those bus stop shelters are already being replaced and should be completed in the next month or two, according to the release.
"These changes are aimed at improving bus speeds, and waiting spaces around bus stops, in addition to navigating the construction detours," the release read.
On Thursday, the bus stops located on Superior Street at Ninth and 11th avenues east were removed. Bus stops will be added on both sides of 10th Avenue East and Superior Street.
- Beginning Monday, April 26, the DTA will not provide service on East Second Street between Third and Sixth avenues east. The detour will take the bus along Fourth Street between those avenues.
- On Monday, May 3, DTA buses will permanently stop entering the Mariner Mall parking lot in Superior. Instead, buses will take 28th Street to Hill Avenue. Two bus stops will be placed on each side of Hill Avenue.
- On Monday, May 10, Routes 4 and 15 will return to service and the "dial-a-ride" service that was acting in place of Route 15 will end.
