Grand theft vehicle: Warren Road
Police report a rental car was stolen at 7:34 p.m. Oct. 15 from a gas station on Warren Road near Franklin Boulevard. The complainant left the vehicle running while he ran inside, according to a police event report. The vehicle was last seen headed westbound on Hilliard Road.
Theft: Madison Avenue
Police at 11:20 p.m. Oct. 15 responded to a hold-up alarm at 7-Eleven, according to a police event report. Officers report a man stole items from the store. Police stopped suspects near Madison and Marlow, and they cited one man for theft.
Criminal damaging: Madison Avenue
Officers responded at 6:27 p.m. Oct. 14 to a criminal damaging complaint at Madison Park. Someone ripped a door off a stall in the women’s restroom.
OVI and weapon: Westwood Avenue
Police arrested a man at 9:17 p.m. Oct. 13 at Westwood Avenue near Hilliard Road for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. They also charged him with improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
OVI: Coutant Avenue
A woman flagged over a police officer at 11:25 p.m. Oct. 11 to complain about a vehicle that was following her. Officers located a suspicious vehicle on Coutant and arrested the male driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
OVI: Madison Avenue
Police at 2:24 a.m. Oct. 10 learned that a fire hydrant on Ridgewood Avenue had been struck and was leaning. Officers began checking the area for vehicles with damage. Police at 2:27 a.m. stopped a vehicle on Madison Avenue that was dragging a front bumper. Police arrested the driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Theft: Detroit Avenue
Officers at 8:21 a.m. Oct. 10 responded to Discount Drug Mart on a report of a suspected male shoplifter. Officers cited the suspect for petty theft and released him.
Criminal damaging: Clarence Avenue
A man at 11 a.m. Oct. 10 reporting finding someone broke out the windows of his parked car.
Theft: Berea Road
Police responded at 10:59 a.m. Oct. 9 to a report that catalytic converters were stolen off five U-Haul vehicles.
