And then everyone ran for the emergency exit, where the older students helped the younger ones climb out.
"Just hear a bunch of sirens coming and everybody starts crying and panicking,” Graci said.
Graci had a panic attack and an older student let her call her mother.
"Very heartbreaking, very heartbreaking. And then pulling up and not knowing,” Valerie, Graci’s mother said with tears in her eyes.
Later, they found out the bus driver, Lisa Dillard, and a 7-year-old girl was killed in the crash. Both neighbors and friends to the Hannan's.
"She's one of my favorite bus drivers because if you lost something she would try to find it for you," Graci said, "Really actually really, really sad because my friend, Layla, which is Ms. Lisa's daughter, she's in the hospital. I really want to see her, but I can't."
Graci says she's had nightmares and lost sleep since Tuesday, and won't be returning to school or riding a bus anytime soon.
As we have learned the past several days, the Meigs County community is close-knit and people have come together to support each other.
