DUPLIN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Officials say one student was hospitalized after a school bus crash in Duplin County.
Christy Johnson with Duplin County Schools says one student was taken to Vidant Duplin Hospital for precautionary measures and has since been released. She says no one was seriously hurt.
Johnson says a semi-truck rear-ended the school bus on Charity Road and Hill Lane near Rose Hill Monday.

A bus crash Monday afternoon in Duplin County is still being investigated.
Sheriff’s officials say a semi-truck and a school bus collided on Charity Road and Hill Lane near Rose Hill.
According to investigators, children were on board the school bus, but no word of any injuries.
