Encourages Residents to Get Vaccinated, Enter Sweepstakes
MIDDLEBOROUGH – Town Manager Robert Nunes is pleased to announce that the Town of Middleborough will host the Commonwealth’s #TrustTheFacts Mobile Vaccination Bus in July and August.
The #TrustTheFacts mobile vaccination bus is scheduled to make stops across Massachusetts, from Pittsfield to Provincetown. The mobile vaccination bus will provide easy, free and convenient COVID-19 vaccinations to those who are eligible.
“We look forward to having the mobile vaccination bus visit our community as it will provide our residents with an easy and accessible vaccination clinic,” Town Manager Nunes said. “We encourage all residents to take advantage of this opportunity to receive their vaccine. Those who receive their vaccination on the bus will not only be doing their part to ensure everyone’s safety, but will also be eligible to enter to win tickets to concerts at TD Garden.”
The Vax Bus will visit the Town of Middleborough on July 13 and Aug. 3 from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town Hall Parking Lot, 10 Nickerson Ave.
Vaccinations will take place inside of the Vax Bus mobile unit in one of the six vaccination stations. Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be available to those who attend. No appointment, ID or health insurance card is needed to receive a vaccine on the Vax Bus.
After receiving the vaccine, residents will receive a vaccination record card. Vaccination cards inform you of your second vaccination time and date if you receive the Pfizer vaccine.
All individuals vaccinated on the Vax Bus Tour are eligible to enter to win tickets to concerts at the TD Garden, including:
- Ricky Martin & Enrique Iglesias
- The Weeknd
- Kiss 108 Jingle Ball
