Following a national trend caused by COVID-19, Greenville County Schools is short on bus drivers.
As a result, the district is holding a job fair from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Thomas E. Kerns Elementary School at 6650 Frontage Road.
The district has 89 open bus driver positions and 34 open bus aide positions. They’re also looking for 34 driver aides. There are also open positions for food service workers and custodians.
Starting pay
- Bus Driver $16.57 – $20.23
- Bus Aide $12.93 – $16.07
- Custodian $12.93 – $15.04
- Food Service $12.93 – $15.04
