NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after she was hit by a tour bus on Broadway.
Metro police tell us just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, a 65-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was hit by a Gray Line tour bus at 3rd and Broadway.
They say she was not in a crosswalk, and the bus hit her as it was turning inbound. She was briefly pinned before Nashville firefighters freed her.
She was subsequently taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and police say her injuries are critical but not life threatening.
Metro police tell us another woman, a 28-year-old from Pennsylvania, suffered a broken wrist from the incident.
