Elizabeth Duff grew up in a time when buses were segregated, but all she wanted was to be at the very front. When the Nashville Metro Transit Authority announced it would open hiring to women, she became the first one to drive a bus in the city. She stayed behind the wheel for 33 years. Duff died last week at 72 from COVID-19. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
