JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office investigated a shooting in the 6500 block of Arlington Road north Wednesday morning.

Police said around 12:55 a.m. they heard gunshots in the area. When they responded to the area they found an adult man with a single gunshot wound in a car. The car had bullet holes.

The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to JSO.

A person of interest was found in the area. That person’s car also had bullet holes.

Police said they believe all suspects were detained for the incident and there is no threat to the community.

It is unknown if this was a road rage incident.
