SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving her SUV into two people early Saturday morning, causing non-life-threatening injuries, according to Syracuse police.

Police arrived at the 100 block of West Bissell Street around 2 a.m. Saturday regarding a hit-and-run.

Police found two people — a 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman — who had both recently been hit by an SUV. They were taken to Upstate University Hospital, and both are expected to survive.

Police later found the SUV on the 100 block of Marvine Road. Inside was Rolanda Campbell, 40, and Lenon Taylor, 40, both of Syracuse.

Police said they later learned that Campbell was driving and intentionally struck the pair. When police found the vehicle, Taylor was behind the wheel and was intoxicated, police said.

Campbell is being charged with two counts of assault, one count of reckless endangerment, one count of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of driving while intoxicated. Taylor was also charged with DWI, police said.
