JACKSON, Wyo. — All START Bus operators and passengers are required to wear a mask until September 13, 2021, according to a security directive issued by the U.S Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration (TSA).

The requirement applies to all persons, including those who have already been vaccinated.

The order requires masks to be worn on commercial aircraft, and surface transportation, including, trains, road vehicles, vessels.

It also requires masks at all transportation hubs/facilities, including airports, bus terminals, marinas, seaports, subway stations, train stations, U.S ports of entry, and any other location that provided transportation subject to the jurisdiction of the U.S.

TSA issued this security directive in accordance with President Biden’s executive order, Promoting COVID-19 Safety in Domestic and International Travel, signed on Jan. 21.

Teton County public health order #21-3 is set to lift on May 7, ahead of the expiration date previously set for May 17, lifting mask requirements in some places.
