Malabar Middle School, 205 W. Cook Road - A woman was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after she was in a verbal altercation with a bus aid and was even following the bus down the street screaming. The woman said she felt her son was being wrongfully disciplined by the bus aide and she said things she did not mean, specifically that she would "burn the bus down."

Mansfield - A 14-year-old girl Tuesday was refusing to get off the school bus, saying she is afraid of her 61-year-old grandmother. The grandmother was arrested on a  charge of domestic violence and taken to jail. The grandmother admitted to hitting the teen because she took her computer upstairs. The victim and three other children were left in the custody of Richland County Children Services.

1700 block of Riva Ridge Drive - A woman told police someone stole $2,500 from the inside of her unlocked vehicle while it was inside the garage with the garage door open. She said she accidentally left her vehicle unlocked when she took her dog for a walk and left the cash and a deposit slip on the dash of her vehicle.

1700 block of Riva Ridge Drive - A woman told police someone stole two 38-caliber revolvers from her. One was pink, the other purple. She said two men assisted her in moving into the incident location.

300 block of Herman Avenue - A man returned home to see his neighbor attempting to pry open a window at his house. A 26-year-old man was issued summonses in lieu of arrest on charges of criminal trespass and criminal damaging.

600 block of Sackman Street - A 70-year-old woman told officers her son helped her sign up for unemployment benefits and he told her she was not eligible. However, with the help of a home nurse, she learned she is currently signed up for and being sent unemployment benefits, which she is not receiving.

500 block of West Fourth Street - A woman said she left her keys in the door knob to her room and she went inside to gather some clothing and upon exiting the room saw the keys were missing.

400 block of Tremont Street - A man reported his blue bicycle stolen from the backyard.

400 block of Newman Street - A woman said someone took a pill bottle of Suboxone from her purse.

100 block of Park Avenue West - An 18-year-old man Tuesday was taken to jail on a summons on a charge of drunkenness and underage consumption after he was found by firefighters in a flower bed along the sidewalk with no shirt or shoes on and the temperature was 45 degrees outside. Regardless of what question the officer asked, the man said "3-14." The man said he lived on 314 and his date of birth was 3-14.

OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, 335 Glessener Ave. - An 18-year-old woman was arrested and taken to jail on a charge of assault and disorderly conduct after she spit in the face of a member of the security staff.
