BRUNSWICK, Ohio

Theft: Pearl Road

Management at KDK Auto Brokers reported a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe stolen from the dealership lot sometime between the close of business Nov. 28 and 1:37 p.m. Dec. 2.

The dealership still had possession of the keys at the time of the theft and there was no security camera footage at the time of the report.

Drunken driver: Pearl Road

Police responded to a call about a suspicious person at the Pearl Road Apartments at 12:29 a.m. Nov. 26. A woman located by police told officers that she had struck something while driving through the parking lot.

She was found to be intoxicated, registering nearly three times the legal limit for intoxication.

Criminal damaging: Stoneybrook Lane

A woman reported damage to her 2006 Buick LaCrosse at 1:23 p.m. Dec. 3 while the car was parked in the RHM Manor parking lot. The victim said she suspects a tenant at the complex, with whom she has had “ongoing issues,” of causing the damage.

Police questioned the suspect, who denied damaging the car.

Drunken driver: Skyview Drive

A driver was stopped at 11:22 p.m. Dec. 3 for having one operating headlight. The driver admitted to drinking alcohol two hours before the stop. He failed field sobriety tests and refused to provide a breath sample.

He was cited for operating a motor vehicle while impaired, display of lights and open container and was released to a sober driver.

Theft: Center Road

Management from Home Depot reported a boom lift stolen from the company’s parking lot overnight Nov. 14. Reports noted that “the lift had both the wheel and hitch lock cut prior to … removal from the southwest corner lot at the business.” There was no further information available at the time of the report.

Theft: Center Road

A man reported a $340 Nintendo Switch stolen from his car around 8 p.m. Nov. 20 while the car was parked -- unlocked -- in the O’Reilly Auto Parts store parking lot.

Two store employees were named as suspects, but there was no further information available at the time of the report.

Theft: Delaware Drive

A man reported his $1,900 siding brake tool stolen from his yard sometime between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 23. There were no suspects at the time of the report.
