Criminal damage: Solon Industrial Parkway
At 3:30 p.m. Nov. 30, a Cleveland woman, 26, reported that someone had flattened two of her car’s tires and placed a plastic bag over the auto’s exhaust pipe while it was parked at her workplace, Interdesign, 30725 Solon Industrial Parkway. Police have no suspects.
OVI: Burlwood Drive
At 9:10 p.m. Nov. 25, an officer stopped a car that did not have activated headlights. It was subsequently learned that the driver, a Solon man, 59, was intoxicated. The man refused to take a breath test. Police charged the man with OVI.
Theft: Landsdowne Drive
At 3:40 p.m. Nov. 26, a man reported that he had paid $250 to an online seller for a PlayStation 5, but that the seller did not show up at a meeting place to turn over the game system.
Warrant arrest: Aurora Road
At 4:20 a.m. Nov. 27, police responded to a complaint and cited a Cleveland woman, 27, for the loud music she was playing in her car. It was also found that the woman was wanted on a North Olmsted police warrant for theft. The woman was arrested on the warrant.
OVI: Ohio 43
At 6:25 p.m. Nov. 28, officers investigated a two-car crash on Ohio 43 and learned that one of the involved drivers, a Chagrin Falls man, 61, was intoxicated. The man refused to take a breath test. He was arrested for OVI.
Warrant arrest: Enterprise Parkway
At 3:35 p.m. Nov. 29, an officer stopped a car that was being driven erratically between lanes. During the traffic stop, it was learned that the car’s passenger, a Streetsboro man, 35, was wanted on a warrant for burglary issued by police in Maryland. The man was arrested on the warrant.
The driver, an Akron man, 37, was issued a warning for the marked-lanes violation.
OVI: U.S. 422
At 5:45 p.m. Nov. 30, a Struthers, Ohio, man, 34, drove his car into a tree. Police found that the man was intoxicated. The man refused to take a breath test. Police charged the man with OVI and failure to control, and cited him for driving without a license.
Theft by deception: Copley Avenue
At 12:40 p.m. Nov. 30, a woman, 42, reported that she had been the victim of a scam. She gave personal information to a caller who claimed to be an Apple representative calling about her computer.
The woman found that the information she gave was used to remove $6,800 from her bank account.
Aggravated menacing: Aurora Road
At 3:20 p.m. Nov. 30, a Garfield Heights man, 21, reported that his former girlfriend, 19, also of Garfield Heights, had used her car to strike his. She also used a screwdriver to cause additional damage to his auto. The woman was charged with aggravated menacing and criminal damaging.
