A 64-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after a car hit her as she crossed a Lancaster County street, police said.
Lititz police said the woman, a Lititz resident, was hit around 6 p.m. Friday while in a crosswalk at East Main and North Water streets.
Samuel K. Okuwa, 18, also of Lititz, was making a left turn from East Main Street onto North Water Street when the crash happened, according to police.
Okuwa was given a traffic ticket for disobeying the pedestrian right-of-way while in a crosswalk, police said. The 64-year-old woman’s condition is unknown Saturday.
