A Guttenberg woman was killed after she was struck by a bus in Fairview Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The 57-year-old woman, whose name has not been released, was struck by an NJ Transit bus at the intersection of Anderson Avenue and Fairview Avenue at about 6:45 a.m., said Paul Milo, an NJ Transit spokesman.
The Cresskill-bound bus was making a left turn onto Fairview Avenue when the woman was hit by the rear driver's side wheel of the bus, Milo said. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene, Police Chief Martin Kahn said.
