Resisting arrest: Laurel Circle
On June 24, police observed a car parked half in the road and half on the tree lawn. The car was still running but the driver was unconscious. The suspect was arrested on charges of reasonable control and resisting arrest.
Drunk driving: Root Road
Officers were dispatched to an accident without injuries on July 1. The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving.
Property damage: Laurel Circle
On July 1, complainants reported a roommate had damaged the house but had left the scene. Police located the suspect who was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
Criminal damaging: Lorain Road
A resident reported damage to a family member’s grave on June 30.
Arson: Lear Nagle Road
On June 28, police responded to Ranger High Tech Academy for a dumpster fire.
Overdose: Cornell Avenue
Police responded to a possible overdose on June 27. The suspect was revived and transported to the hospital.
Overdose: Deborah Drive
On June 27, officers responded to a report of a man lying on the tree lawn. The suspect was revived and transported for treatment of a drug overdose.
Unauthorized use: Bagley Road
On June 27, an officer located a vehicle that was entered as unauthorized use out of the Columbus Police Department. The driver was stopped, and an Elyria man arrested.
Drunken driving: Root Road
On June 29, police responded to a non-injury crash. The driver was arrested and charged with drunken driving.
