Police found that the 25-year-old male driver from Detroit lost control, went over the overpass and landed on the service drive. The driver was ejected from the vehicle as it left the overpass.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Police have reopened the eastbound ramp and service drive M-8 Davison Freeway, which was previously closed for investigation.
