A 38-year-old man is in critical condition after being thrown from a shuttle bus in a crash early Sunday morning in Bushwick, according to the NYPD.
An NYPD spokesperson said a shuttle bus was traveling eastbound on Myrtle Avenue when the driver hit an Aston Martin traveling northbound on Evergreen Avenue near Suydam Street. The 38-year-old man was ejected from the shuttle bus and taken to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition, the police department said.
Two people injured were transported to Elmhurst Hospital, and another two were taken to Kings County Hospital about 3:50 a.m., according to the Fire Department.
Police did not have information regarding the company that owns the bus or where it was going or coming from. Both drivers remained on the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
Video from the Citizen App shows a crowd gathered at the crash, where other vehicles also appear to be damaged.
