Syracuse, N.Y. — Onondaga County health officials Sunday night warned the public of two potential recent exposures to the coronavirus.

Health officials said an employee at a Tully’s restaurant and a passenger on a Centro bus have tested positive for Covid-19, and anyone who visited the restaurant or rode on the same bus route during the following times should monitor for symptoms:

  • Tully’s Good Times, 3355 W. Genesee St. in Fairmount. Time of exposure: 4:30 to 9:15 p.m. Nov. 2 and 4 to 5:15 p.m. Nov. 3.
  • Centro Bus Route 240, Syracuse University/Nob Hill bus Route 240 inbound to the Syracuse Hub. Time of exposure: 8:16 to 8:40 a.m. Nov. 4 and 5.

Earlier Sunday, the Cayuga County Health Department warned the public of another potential coronavirus exposure after a student athlete and a spectator tested positive for the coronavirus after attending a cross country meet Saturday at Jordan-Elbridge High School.

Jordan-Elbridge hosted the cross country meet, which featured runners from Jordan-Elbridge, Christian Brothers Academy, Skaneateles and Weedsport. J-E, CBA and Skaneateles schools are all in Onondaga County; Weedsport is in Cayuga County. Health officials said anyone in attendance could have been exposed.

Those who have been exposed should monitor themselves for symptoms of coronavirus for 14 days from the date of potential exposure. Symptoms of Covid-19 can include fever, cough, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, congestion or runny rose, nausea and vomiting, diarrhea or difficulty breathing.

If symptoms develop, people should stay home and call their doctors for further guidance. The health department said people who are elderly, have underlying medical conditions or compromised immune systems should call their doctors early even if their illness is mild.
