Patrons of seven businesses and four bus routes were possibly exposed to the novel coronavirus, according to the Onondaga County Health Department.
The exposures come as Onondaga County has seen a recent rise in cases of the virus “at a very concerning pace,” according to Dr. Kathryn Anderson, a professor of medicine and immunology at Upstate University Hospital.
In the last three days, new cases have jumped by 70 (Thursday), 99 (Friday) and 71 (Saturday).
The possible exposures happened at the following locations:
Centro bus routes
A passenger who later tested positive for the coronavirus took the following routes on Oct. 21, 22, 23 and 26:
- James St. route 23 inbound to the Centro hub, from about 6:05 a.m. to 6:30 a.m.
- SU/Nobb Hill 240 Outbound, from about 6:40 a.m. to 6:55 a.m.
- College Place Route 40 Inbound to the Centro Hub, from about 3:34 p.m. to 3:55 p.m.
- James/East Syracuse Route 123 Outbound, from about 4:10 p.m. to 4:38pm
Brad’s Extra Innings, 200 Highland Ave., East Syracuse
A patron tested positive and visited on Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Bonnie’s Place, 628 W. Manlius St., East Syracuse
A patron tested positive and visited on Oct. 25, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Basil Leaf Ristorante, 390 Brewerton Road, North Syracuse
Three employees tested positive. They worked on the following days and times:
- Sunday, October 25, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Tuesday, October 27, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Wednesday, October 28, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Thursday, October 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Dollar General, 2922 East Genesee St., Syracuse
An employee tested positive. They last worked on Monday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Buffalo Wild Wings, 200 Township Blvd., Camillus
An employee tested positive. They last worked on Monday, Oct. 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Blarney Stone, 314 Avery Avenue, Syracuse
A patron tested positive and was at the bar on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Wolf’s Den, 617 Wolf Street, Syracuse
An employee tested positive and last worked Tuesday, from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
