An Easton woman driving with her two daughters in the car led officers on a high-speed chase Wednesday night into the city, which only ended when she crashed into another car, police said.

Tiffany Nicole Jordan-Rebozo told police she fled because she has outstanding warrants, and later admitted she was driving under the influence of narcotics.

Jordan-Rebozo, of the 100 block of North 13th Street in the city, is now facing 15 new charges stemming from the chase, including fleeing, accidents involving injury, child endangerment and reckless endangerment.

The 34-year-old was sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Wilson police said they stopped Jordan-Rebozo for a traffic violation at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Jordan-Rebozo allegedly said gave the officer her sister’s name and, when an officer walked back to the car to check the information, Jordan-Rebozo sped off in the maroon 2008 Hyundai down the 2000 block of Northampton Street.

Police said they followed with lights and sirens, but Jordan-Rebozo kept driving down Northampton Street, eventually making her way into Easton. That’s when Jordan-Rebozo crashed into an occupied car at Northampton and South 13th streets, injuring the three people inside the other car, Wilson police said.

But Jordan-Rebozo kept driving, according to police, only stopping when her car became disabled after the collision. Jordan-Rebozo then climbed out of the Hyundai through the driver’s side window and took off on foot, before police said she was arrested in the 1200 block of Spring Garden Street.

Jordan-Rebozo reportedly admitted giving police her sister’s name at the traffic stop, and officers confirmed she has multiple outstanding warrants.

Police found Jordan-Rebozo’s husband in the passenger seat of the damaged car, one of their daughter’s standing next to the crashed car and a second daughter in the rear passenger seat. The girls are 7 and 11 years old, police said.

The husband reportedly told officers he told Jordan-Rebozo to pull over because of the children in the car, and that she was speeding and he was afraid the girls would be hurt.
