Suspicious, Center Ridge Road
On Aug. 11 officers received reports of car alarms going off in the Brighton Chase parking lot. Officers found 12 cars had been entered and rummaged through.
Demolition begins on Rocky River police station.
Kids are treated to Christmas shopping and lunch with Santa with police officers.
Thefts, Hampton Road
On Aug. 11 several cars were gone through overnight. Owners reported loose change taken. On Aug. 16 a Falmouth Road resident reported their car had been entered and loose change taken.
Grand theft, Avalon Drive
On Aug. 16 officers received two different calls regarding stolen vehicles. An Avalon Drive resident reported that sometime overnight a 2020 Lincoln Aviator was stolen from the driveway with the keys in it. The vehicle was recovered in Cleveland on Aug. 17. An Eriewood Drive resident reported that sometime overnight his 2020 white Porsche Macan was stolen from the driveway. The resident reported that the car had been left unlocked with the key inside. The vehicle is valued at approximately $98,460.
