MONTCALM COUNTY, MI – A 33-year-old Sheridan man is hospitalized after he was struck by a car while walking in the road, state police said.
The crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, on Garlock Road north of East Carson City Road in Montcalm County’s Bloomer Township.
Investigation showed that pedestrian, in all-dark clothing, was walking in the northbound lane of Garlock when he was struck by a northbound car driven by a 74-year-old Crystal man.
None of the occupants of the car were hurt.
The state police Lakeview post is investigating.
