NATIONAL CITY —
A woman apparently fell out of a party bus traveling on northbound Interstate 5 in National City Saturday night and suffered major life-threatening injuries, according to OnScene TV.
A group of young adults were traveling on board the Top Dog Limo Bus around 8:11 p.m. when a woman fell out of the bus through an emergency exit in the back of the bus. OnScene reported that a witness said the woman may have been walking to the restroom in the back of the bus and fell onto the emergency door, which then opened.
The bus was in the process of picking up the different members of the party when the accident occurred.
California Highway Patrol officers gave a field sobriety test to the limo bus driver and he passed, OnScene TV reported.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, but no further information was given.
The CHP is investigating the incident.
