MONTCALM COUNTY, MI -- A 43-year-old Howard City man was seriously inured when his motorcycle collided with a car at a U.S. 131 off-ramp.
The crash happened about 11:50 a.m. Thursday, May 7 at M-46 and the off-ramp from northbound U.S. 131.
State police said the motorcyclist was headed east on M-46 when a Chevy Impala pulled off of the ramp, also heading east.
The motorcycle overturned in the road several times and the driver was thrown, police said.
The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital. Police said speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
Two people in the car had minor injuries and sought their own treatment.
