Suspicious vehicle: Main Street
Police checked out a parked car at 10:03 p.m. May 8. The situation was OK. The motorist was playing Pokemon.
Assist other agency: Bagley Road
North Ridgeville police contacted local authorities at 5:05 a.m. May 9 in pursuit of a car that was traveling all over the street on Lorain Road. The car, however, kept turning around. Local police went to Bagley and Sprague roads in case the car headed in that direction. The car was going eastbound on Interstate 480 at 87 mph by Great Northern Boulevard.
Parked car: Fernwood Drive
Police checked a parked car on the street at 1:17 a.m. May 7. Both people inside were sleeping. The passenger awoke and said she lives in the apartment complex. She showed the officer her keys. The two occupants then went into the apartment.
Welfare check: Metropolitan Boulevard
A Meals on Wheels driver contacted police after no one answered a door of a client at 11:41 a.m. May 7. No one answered the phone either. The resident is hard of hearing. The woman’s daughter was able to reach her at 11:44 a.m.. and told police she was fine. The police cancelled the visit.
Assist fire department: Several homes
Police were called with the fire department in answering several health-related called to assist people between May 5 to 13. Some residents were transported to local hospitals.
