PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Officials say an elderly woman has died after being hit by a shuttle bus in Oakland.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says the woman was hit by a UPMC bus on the 3400 block of Terrace Street on Thursday around 3:30 p.m. Police say when they arrived, a nurse was performing CPR on the victim. The elderly woman was then taken to a local hospital, where she died.
The driver of the shuttle bus remained on the scene. Officials say Terrace Street is closed while police investigate.
