A man was found shot to death Friday night in a vehicle in downtown Houston, police said.
Officers responded around 11:30 p.m. to a reported shooting at 100 North Hamilton Street near the Interstate 59 exit, said Detective Jason Escobar of the Houston Police Department. Authorities found a man in his 30s dead inside the car from at least one gunshot wound.
It appears bullets were fired inside and outside the vehicle, Escobar said. Police believe the victim was not driving the car and that other passengers fled the scene before authorities arrived.
