Unpaid parking citations: Brockway Road
At 2:10 a.m. May 5, an officer came across a car parked in the street in violation of the city’s overnight parking ordinance. It was found that the car’s owner had seven unpaid parking violations. The car was impounded.
Blocking the road: Meadowbrook Boulevard
At 11:45 p.m. May 4, police found construction materials blocking the street on Meadowbrook Boulevard at Edgerton Road. It was learned that the construction supervisor had permission to store the materials there in the afternoon, but not overnight. The supervisor, an Olmsted Township man, 21, was told to clear the street.
Psychiatric situation: Milton Road
At 4:50 a.m. May 6, a woman, 37, reported that her sister, a Euclid woman, 31, was intoxicated and causing a disturbance related to her ongoing mental health issues. Earlier in the day, the woman told police, the Euclid woman had tried to jump out of a moving car.
Police took the younger sister to the hospital for a mental evaluation.
Suspicion: Traymore Road
At 12:15 a.m. May 9, police investigated a report of a car parked in the street that contained two people. Officers located the car and found that its occupants, a man and a woman, were both in the back seat.
The man, 18, of Shaker Heights, was cited for littering from an automobile, underage possession of alcohol and possession of alcohol in a motor vehicle. He was given a ride back to his home. The woman was released without charges.
Domestic violence: Tullamore Road
At 6:10 p.m. May 10, police were called to a home on a report of an argument among family members. A University Heights man, 34, was arrested on a domestic violence charge.
