Driving under suspension, improper-fictitious plates: Solon Road

A Cleveland man, 50, was stopped at 12:10 a.m. on Aug. 1 driving a Chevy that had a temporary license plate registered to a Pontiac. He was also found to be driving on a license suspension for financial responsibility non-compliance, with police noting that he still could not show proof of insurance.

The owner of the car came and picked it up, although the case remains under investigation for possible stolen license plates.

Speed (warning), driving under suspension: Solon Road

A Barberton man, 40, was initially stopped around 10:40 p.m. on Aug. 4 for going 50 in a 35-mph zone and then found to be driving on a license forfeiture. However he provided proof of insurance and was only issued a warning for speeding, with the car being released at the scene to a valid driver.
