
A 39-year-old Detroit man died after speeding down the Lodge freeway and losing control of his car.
The man was driving onM-10 when he tried to exit the westbound Davidson ramp around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, according to Michigan State Police. He lost control and hit the wall on the passenger side of the car, according to MSP.

The man was killed upon impact, police said. A portable fingerprint scanner was used to identify the man, police said. MSP continues to investigate the crash.
